Preparation & Setup
Get started and set up your Party

Get cozy, make a coffee- It only takes 15 minutes to prepare the whole Party Entertainment
Each item is marked with a Number. Look out for the sticker! Place them all outside the box for better visibility.
Use the "Map sheet of paper" (item 1) and draw the room/ area (if outdoor)- draw important marks ( sofa, tree, fireplace) etc. and draw the final area where you will hide the treasure.
--> Rip the map into 8 pieces and you have your 8 cluesThe clues don`t have to be logically connected. They might also win a clue from you -when- for example - they solve a riddle or win a game.
Hide the first clue in a shoe/ cupboard/ shoe rack/ behind a tree
Fill the golden star-shaped Piñata with some sweets and add one piece of the Map
Prepare Pot and wooden Spoon for blindfolded Pot game
Get a white A4 paper and draw - using the secret ink pen - (item 2) an Arrow that shows in the direction where you will hide another clue. Kids have to find out that they have to use the magic pen light to make it visible.
On a blanket ( when in the park) or on a table - prepare the Masks (item 3) and the tattoos( item 4) and a bowl with water and towel
in the corner of the table prepare (for later) the wooden rocket crafts. ( Item 11)
Hide the treasure
--> Take (item 5) the treasure box and add in the beads and pipe cleaners (item 6) - Pipe cleaners are a little easier to handle for the small hands to put on the beads.
The treasure is everything needed for the last craft. You can also add in sweets. Hide it somewhere under a blanket / under the sofa/ outdoors behind the tree and mark it with some of the glitter tape with a big X.Prepare the "Take home bags" (Item 7) so that the kids can fill it with what they craft, what they find in the piñata, treasure and any extras you would like to add.
Hang the "Throw Banner" (item 8) in a door frame with double sided tape ( if outdoors ( a tree) between 2 chairs, or simply held with hands by an adult
Lay out the Felt stones (Item 9)
Write the invitation cards (item 10)


👨🚀 Intro Transmission
Gather the kids around the TV or a computer to receive an important mission briefing from Commander Spacey, beamed straight from the International Space Station. ( Show your personalized video to the kids)
🎵 Spacey Get-Ready Playlist (25 minutes)
Play an energizing out-of-this-world playlist to get everyone in the space zone.
Show the kids how to decorate their space masks —encourage them to pin some galactic diamonds on them. Apply galaxy tattoos to their arms to make them official crew members.
Also feel free to hand out their bags. they can choose a sticker and put it on the bag so they recognize it during the day. You can also write their first letter of their names on it. The bag already has the little rocket lamp in it.
🚀 Countdown to Launch – Astronaut Hype-Up (5 minutes)
Gather all crew members with their space masks and tattoos for the first crew photo.
Now, get them pumped! Help them come up with a space cheer they’ll shout every time they discover a clue.
Example:
🗣️ “Clue ahead, we’re on the case! Zooming fast through outer space!”
German example: „Hinweis voraus, Rakete raus – wir heben ab, hurra, Applaus!“
🔍 Mission Clue #1 – The Lost Space Boot (5 minutes)

The first clue is hidden in a shoe or the shoe rack. (If outside, hide inside a shoe.)
🪐 Meteor Field Challenge (10 minutes)
Head over to the meteor zone (felt stones area - Item 9). The kids must cross the dangerous Meteor Field to reach the next clue!
🗣️ Mission Briefing:
“Attention crew! To reach the next base, you must leap from meteor to meteor. The floor is space debris—touch it and you'll drift off into the void! Only those who stay on the safe path make it to the other side.”
The first astronaut to reach the other side wins the Meteor Field Challenge and receives Clue #2.
🌀 Optional Challenge Twists:
- Speed Round: After making it across, they must shout, “Landed safe on the moon!” to claim victory.
- Retry Loop: If someone steps off a meteor, they return to the start and try again—until one space explorer wins.
🛸 “Avoid the Black Hole!” Game (10 minutes)
Use the same felt stones (Item 9) as space platforms. Place one less than the number of kids
Play a space-themed music track.
As the music plays, the astronauts must hop from platform to platform as if dodging black holes and asteroid fields.
When the music stops — gravity shifts! — each astronaut must land on a safe space rock.
The one left floating (without a platform) is “lost in space,” but earns a star badge sticker (Item 10) as a consolation.
The last astronaut standing earns extra moon rocks (sweets) for their goody bag and receives Clue #3.
Switch the playlist to this one if you want more upbeat ( if you want to calm the kids down a bit - replay the first one :-D
🛠️ Build Your Spaceship & Cosmic Fuel Break (25 minutes)Crafting Time (Item 11)
Now it’s time to construct your own rocket ship and decorate it to prepare for intergalactic missions!🧑🚀 Mission Brief:
Astronauts must build their spacecraft using the kit and decorate it with cosmic colors, star stickers, and their own name. Once their rocket is ready. Now launch into a zero-gravity dance party with their creations—making mystical space music as they move!🚀 These space rockets double as souvenirs for their room and are added to their astronaut gear bags to take home.
🔍 The Secret Message in Space Ink (5 minutes)Clue: "The next instruction has gone invisible—use astronaut tech to reveal it!"
📍 Hide the clue: Write it on a blank paper using an invisible ink pen (magic pen).🛰️ Mission Challenge: Set a table with various items—like a spoon, fruit, a space cup, and the special invisible ink pen with UV light (item2) . Let the kids investigate and guess how to reveal the message. With a little guidance, they’ll discover the “space knife” (clue) that shows the arrow pointing to the final destination.
👾 Hunt the Alien Bats! (15 minutes) (Item 9)🦇 “Watch out! Alien bats are flying near! You must defeat them with your astronaut aim!”
📍 Hide the clue: Near a door or wall, or keep it hidden in your pocket.🛸 Mission Challenge: Kids take turns throwing bean bags at the alien throw-banner holes.
hang the banner into a door ( with double sided tape) or simply hold it with your arms and they aim at it ( bean bags are small and soft :-D)✅ Scoring Tip: Once the group hits 10 points total, the clue mysteriously appears (you can drop it on the floor or toss it from behind the banner). Cheering recommended!
Go for a little drink break and another photo ( they can also put their faces on the banner holes for a fun photo)🥄 Blindfolded Moon Drum Game (10 minutes)
Clue: "The next piece of the mission is under the moon drum. Find it—without your space vision!"
📍 Hide the clue: Under a large pot or bowl.🧑🚀 Mission Challenge: One astronaut is blindfolded and must use a spoon to tap around the “moon surface” to find the hidden pot. Their teammates will guide them by yelling “hot!” or “cold!” as they get closer.
✅ Bonus: Play a few rounds, hiding sweets under the pot first, and reveal the final clue during the last round.
🎉 Mini Meteor Piñata Smash (10 minutes)"Crack open the meteor to reveal alien supplies and your next clue!"
📍 Hide the clue inside the mini piñata along with sweets.🪐 Mission Challenge: Blindfold ( or not) Kids take turns hitting the piñata to break it open and release cosmic treats and their final clue.
🌌 Cosmic Treasure Found (10 minutes)💎 Final Clue – X Marks the Galaxy!
“You're almost there! Look for the glowing X that marks the galactic treasure zone!”
📍 Hide the treasure chest - let the kids put together with the glitter tape all clues and use the map to find the final treasure.🚀 Challenge: Mark the location with a bright-colored “X” using the tape . Build anticipation by letting them search around the area before giving hints.
🪐 Galactic CelebrationOnce the treasure is found, blast the victory fanfare! Let the kids cheer, play a space chant, and snap a group photo with their cosmic loot.
💫 Jewellery Crafting from Alien Treasures (20 minutes)Now the astronauts can cool down and make their own galactic bracelets from the sparkling materials found in the treasure chest—tiny planets and alien gems from Commander Stardust’s collection.
Help them thread beads onto the pipe cleaners and add their creations to their astronaut bags as one final keepsake from the mission.
