Preparation & Setup

Get cozy, make a coffee- It only takes 10 minutes to prepare the whole Party Entertainment

  • Each item is marked with a Number. Look out for the sticker! Place them all outside the box for better visibility.

  • Use the "Map sheet of paper" (item 1) and draw the room/ area (if outdoor) draw important marks ( sofa, tree, fireplace) etc. and draw the final area where you will hide the treasure.
    --> Rip the map into 8 pieces and you have your 8 clues

    The clues don`t have to be logically connected. They might also win a clue from you -when- for example - they solve a riddle or win a game.

  • Hide the first clue in a shoe/ cupboard/ shoe rack

  • Fill the Pinata (2) with some sweets and add one piece of the Map

  • Pot and wooden Spoon for blindfolded Pot game

  • Get a white A4 paper and draw ( using the secret ink pen - item 3 an Arrow that shows in the direction where you will hide another clue. Kids have to find out that they have to use the pen light to make it visible.

  • On a blanket ( when in the park) or on a table - prepare the Masks (item 4) and the tattoos( item 5) and a bowl with water and towel

  • in the corner of the table prepare (for later) the wooden crafts (6).

  • Hide the treasure
    --> Take (item 7) the treasure box and add in the beads and the pipe cleaners (item 8) - it is everything needed for the last craft. You can also add in sweets. Hide it somewhere under a blanket / under the sofa/ outdoors behind the tree and mark it with some of the glitter tape with a big X.

  • Prepare the "Take home bags" (Item 9) so that the kids can fill it with what they craft, what they find in the piñata, treasure and any extras you would like to add.

  • Hang the "Throw Banner" (item 10) in a door frame with the double sided tape dots ( tool box) 10 ( if outdoors ( a tree) between 2 chairs, or simply held by an adult

  • Lay out the Felt stones (Item 11)

  • Write invitations and hand them out

The itinerary
  1. Intro Clip
    Gather the kids around the TV or a computer for them to hear their message from Pirate Goldbeard.

  2. Pirate Get ready Playlist Pirate sounds ( 25 minutes)
    Show them how to scratch with the wooden stick and make hearts or skulls on the masks. Put the tattoos on their Arms.

  3. Cheer them up - Hype them up (5 minutes)
    Gather them all with their Masks and Tattoos ( First Group Picture)
    Hype them up and find a common cheer or slogan. They will scream now ( with your guidance) and everytime they find a clue.
    Example: "Clue, clue, shout it loud! Treasure’s near, we’re so proud!

  4. First clue will be found either in a shoe or the shoe rack. (if outside - inside a shoe)( 5 minutes)

    📜 Clue:
    "The first clue waits, hidden from view,
    Check inside where you hide your shoe!"

  5. Crocodile River Challenge Playlist - crocodile sounds ( 10 minutes)
    Now you go to the Felt stones and have the kids take the challenge to arrive at the "other side of the Crocodile River"

    Guide: "Ahoy, brave adventurers! The treasure is across the Crocodile River, but beware—hungry crocs are lurking! Only the swiftest can escape. Step on the safe stones (felt stones- Item 9) and make it across without touching the water. The first pirate to make it to the other side is the winner of the Crocodile River challenge and gets handed over the 2nd clue.

    Crocodile Challenge Twist (Optional):

    • Speed Round: Once a child makes it across, they have to quickly shout, "I’m safe from the crocs!" to become the winner.

    • Elimination Style: If a child touches the floor (the water), they have to go back to the starting line and try again, but keep trying until there's only one winner.

  6. 🏴‍☠️ "Walk the Plank!" ( 10 minutes)

    • Place round felt stones (item 9) on the floor as stepping stones — one less than the number of kids.

    • Play pirate music Playlist song.

    • While the music plays, the little pirates must hop from stone to stone as if crossing a dangerous crocodile river or walking the plank.

    • When the music stops — the sea rises! — every pirate must find a safe stone.

    • The pirate left without a stone is out — but earns a pirate patch sticker ( item 10) as a consolation prize

    • The last remaining pirate earns extra sweets for his take home bag and the 3rd clue

  1. Build your boat & Drink Break (25 minutes)
    Crafting (Item 11)
    Now they need to build their pirate ships and decorate them to sail out to the sea and conquer!
    Challenge: The kids will now craft for around 20 minutes
    ✅ Setup Tip: Use the kit and let the kids paint their ship colourful. Help them write their name on it and support them with adding the Wind Chimes. After let them dance around with them and make some mystical Pirate music . Another little addition to their take- home bag as a souvenir and to decorate their room.

  2. ⚓The Secret Ink Message (5 minutes)
    "The next clue is hidden… but it’s INVISIBLE! Use magic to reveal it!"
    📍 Hide the Clue: On a blank piece of paper (previously written with your magic pen).
    🎯 Challenge: put a couple of things on the table such as a spoon, a cup, a fruit and also the secret pen with its light that will make the ink visible on the paper.
    ✅ Setup Tip: Let each of the kids come up with an idea of how to make the clue visible. help them a bit after a while. Once they found the kniff, which gives them the Arrow that points towards the final clue.

  3. Hunt the bats (15 minutes) (item 9)
    🦇 "Beware of the bats! Defeat them with your pirate aim!"
    📍 Hide the Clue: Near a wall or door or keep it in your pocket.
    🎯 Challenge: Kids throw small bean bags through the holes of the pirate Throw Game Banner.
    ✅ Setup Tip: Let each child throw a couple of times and once arrived at 10 scores/hits in total ( count with them) the clue flies down ( from your hand on the floor for example) or from behind the banner you throw it to the front)

  4. Blindfolded Pot Game (10 minutes) A classic!
    🥄 The Pirate's Drum
    Clue: "The last clue is hidden under the pirate’s drum! Find it blindfolded!"
    📍 Hide the Clue: Under a large pot or bowl. 🎯 Challenge: One child is blindfolded and must use a wooden spoon to tap around and find the hidden pot with the final clue inside.
    ✅ Setup Tip: Have kids guide the blindfolded player by shouting "hot!" or "cold!" as they search. You can make several rounds to let several kids be the blindfolded player and hide sweets under the pot until you finally hide the clue at the 4th or 5th round.

  5. Mini Piñata Challenge (10 minutes)
    "Break the pirate’s secret stash for your next clue!"
    Hide the Clue: Inside the small piñata alongside sweets.
    🎯 Challenge: Kids take turns hitting the piñata to get the next clue.

  6. Treasure found (10 minutes)
    💰 Final Clue – X Marks the Spot! "You’re so close! Find the big X where the treasure chest rests!"
    🎯 Challenge: Kids dig through a box (filled with crumpled paper or scarves) to find the hidden treasure chest.
    🎉 Treasure Found! ✅ Setup Tip: Mark the spot with a big red "X" using tape or fabric. Build excitement by making the kids search around before revealing the spot.

    🏆 Celebration Once the treasure is found, celebrate with a pirate chant! Let the kids cheer, and take a group photo with their loot!

  7. Jewellery Crafting of Treasure (20 minutes)

    Now they can sit at the table and make their very own Pirate bracelets out of the beads and silver of Captain Goldbeard`s treasure. Everything is in the treasure box and they can get creative. Help them with the elastic band and add it to their pirate bag to take home.
